Mobile Developer - Full Stack (Healthcare Technology)

Sciometrix is seeking a dynamic Mobile Developer with comprehensive Full Stack experience to spearhead the creation of our inaugural mobile application. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to architect, design, and build a high-quality mobile application specifically for the healthcare technology sector. You will also play a significant role in backend and full-stack operations, contributing to the company's technological advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete mobile app development lifecycle: architecture design, development, rigorous testing, seamless deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop native or cross-platform mobile applications (e.g., React Native, Flutter) from the ground up, ensuring robust scalability and optimal performance.
• Build and maintain efficient backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js to support both mobile and web applications.
• Design, optimize PostgreSQL databases, and write efficient SQL queries, including stored procedures.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate complex product requirements into elegant technical solutions, delivering high-quality features iteratively.
• Implement sophisticated data integration workflows, validation checks, and automation to streamline business operations.
• Produce clean, scalable, and thoroughly documented code in JavaScript/Python for both front-end and server-side components.
• Conduct comprehensive unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to guarantee a flawless user experience.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and fellow developers, to achieve project objectives.
• Actively participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote team growth and uphold high-quality coding standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in mobile and full-stack development, proactively integrating them into our workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• A minimum of 4 to 8 years of proven experience in developing mobile applications from inception, demonstrating ownership of the entire app development lifecycle.
• Strong, hands-on expertise with REACT NATIVE is essential.
• Solid backend development skills using Node.js, coupled with deep expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver robust RESTful APIs and effectively integrate third-party services.
• Comfort and capability in an early-stage startup environment, requiring flexibility, initiative, and the ability to contribute across the entire tech stack.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, and a strong understanding of development best practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and effective collaboration skills.
• A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to producing high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code.
