Mobile Automation Test Engineer - Persistent

Persistent is seeking a skilled Mobile Test Automation Engineer to join their team in Pune, Noida, or Bengaluru. This full-time role focuses on building robust mobile automation frameworks to ensure high-quality functionality across Android and iOS devices. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 9 years of experience in mobile automation and a strong understanding of CI/CD and Agile methodologies.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain scalable mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS platforms.
• Build UI automation solutions using Appium.
• Execute test scripts efficiently using cloud platforms like BrowserStack or device farms.
• Develop and maintain API automation scripts.
• Conduct thorough regression and functional testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional development and product teams.
• Support the adoption and implementation of AI-enabled testing strategies.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Proven experience with Appium and mobile automation best practices.
• Hands-on proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Expertise in web and hybrid app automation using Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or similar services.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in API automation.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to AI tools like Codex or Cline is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
