Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Mid-Level Full Stack Developer for our fast-growing IT vertical in Kolkata. This role requires an independent professional capable of owning projects from initial requirement gathering through to final deployment on production servers. You will be the technical lead for WordPress and Shopify engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables for live client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• WordPress Expertise: Architect and maintain complex themes using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and Elementor; modify core theme structures without breaking functionality.
• E-Commerce Leadership: Customize Shopify themes to match brand identities, implement custom features, and optimize store performance for Indian market standards.
• Backend Development: Write clean, efficient PHP code to extend platform capabilities or integrate with third-party APIs as required by client needs.
• Quality Assurance: Proactively debug production-level issues, resolve conflicts between plugins/themes, and ensure cross-browser compatibility for local users.
• Deployment & DevOps: Manage Git workflows, handle staging environment migrations, and execute server-side deployments with minimal downtime.

Required Skills

• Experience Level: 4–6 years of hands-on web development experience specifically within the WordPress ecosystem.
• CMS Proficiency: Deep mastery of Custom Post Types, ACF logic, theme hierarchy (functions.php), and responsive design patterns using Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• E-Commerce Platform: Proven track record in Shopify liquid templating, app integration, and payment gateway configuration for Indian clients.
• Technical Stack: Strong command over PHP 8+, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and REST API integrations.
• Lifecycle Ownership: Must have successfully delivered at least 2–3 live client projects end-to-end independently.
