Job Summary
Kluster First is seeking an experienced Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer with strong expertise in data modeling, pipeline design, and analytics within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable data solutions, integrating diverse enterprise data sources, and delivering high-performance analytics and Power BI dashboards with rich UI/UX.
Key Responsibilities
Modeling & Pipeline Design
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models to support enterprise analytics and AI workloads.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Integrate and harmonize data from multiple structured and semi-structured sources.
Data Transformation & Analytics
- Perform complex data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment using SQL, Python, and Spark.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, trusted datasets for reporting, advanced analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
- Implement robust validation and error-handling mechanisms across all pipelines.
Performance Optimization
- Write performance-tuned code to ensure efficient processing and scalable workloads.
- Optimize queries, pipelines, and storage for cost, speed, and reliability.
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Source System Integration
- Work with diverse enterprise source systems, including: SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and custom / home-grown applications (e.g., .NET-based systems).
- Collaborate effectively with application and functional teams to understand data semantics.
Power BI Reporting & Visualization
- Develop impactful Power BI dashboards with optimized DAX queries.
- Design interactive, user-friendly UI/UX incorporating drill-down capabilities and detailed-level reporting.
- Adhere to governance, performance, and usability best practices in BI delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Advanced SQL and solid Python / Spark skills.
- Proven experience in data modeling (star/snowflake) and building large-scale data pipelines.
- Expertise in Power BI, DAX optimization, and dashboard UX design.
- Experience integrating SAP and enterprise applications.
- Strong problem-solving and performance-tuning skills.
