MES Technical Lead

About this Role

• Own and lead the full lifecycle of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), with a specific focus on Apriso platforms within a GxP-regulated environment.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve MES applications ensuring system reliability, scalability, compliance, and alignment with manufacturing operations.
• Support integration with enterprise systems including ERP, PLCs, and other manufacturing platforms while maintaining strict data integrity standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with production managers, engineers, IT staff, and QA teams to define requirements and design robust manufacturing solutions.
• Orchestrate clean, efficient code adhering to best practices; actively participate in code reviews for quality assurance and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to optimize production efficiency.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to deployment.
• Estimate tasks, identify process roadblocks, propose solutions, and continuously apply emerging MES technologies for improvement.

About You

We are looking for a professional with:

• A minimum of 3+ years in IT Systems operations with a focus on regulatory/Quality Solutions.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of MES principles, software engineering patterns, and the Apriso platform.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines for manufacturing software.
• An educational background: Bachelor's/Master's in IT or related field; advanced degrees or certifications like ITIL 4, Prince2, or GMP are a plus.

Location & Schedule

This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It requires flexibility to support EU timezones as part of our global operations.
