Web Development Mentor (MERN Stack)

Coding Blocks, a leading educational institution in Delhi, is looking for a dedicated Web Development Mentor specializing in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). This role is ideal for a B.Tech graduate passionate about shaping the next generation of full-stack developers.

Role Overview

As a Web Development Mentor, you will be instrumental in guiding students through comprehensive full-stack development training. Your expertise in modern web technologies and your commitment to teaching will empower students with the skills needed for successful careers in web development.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Mentorship

• Deliver engaging training sessions focused on MERN Stack technologies.
• Provide expert guidance on frontend, backend API development, and database integration.
• Conduct effective doubt-clearing sessions and offer practical, hands-on support to students.

Curriculum & Content Development

• Contribute to the design and enhancement of the MERN stack curriculum and associated learning materials.
• Develop practical assignments, real-world projects, and challenging coding exercises.
• Ensure all course content is up-to-date with current industry standards and job market demands.

Student Support & Engagement

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive and regular feedback.
• Mentor students on adopting best coding practices, efficient debugging techniques, and robust project development methodologies.
• Facilitate mock interviews and conduct portfolio reviews to prepare students for job opportunities.

Project Guidance

• Assist students in developing complete end-to-end full-stack applications.
• Provide guidance on deployment strategies and the effective use of version control systems like Git/GitHub.
• Instill the importance of clean code, maintainability, and scalable architectural design.

Performance Tracking

• Track the performance and learning outcomes of students.
• Identify individual learning gaps and recommend tailored improvement strategies.
• Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance the overall effectiveness and impact of our courses.

Mandatory Requirements

• B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is compulsory.
• Demonstrated strong, hands-on experience with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Proficiency in core web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database concepts, authentication mechanisms, and backend architecture principles.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring roles is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment platforms such as AWS, Vercel, or Netlify.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
