MERN Stack Developer Job Opportunity in Chennai

ACSASS is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role involves the complete software development lifecycle, from initial concept to final deployment. You will be instrumental in building scalable web applications utilizing MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The ideal candidate possesses a strong command of JavaScript, modern frontend architectures, and backend API design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Craft responsive and user-centric interfaces using React.js, leveraging technologies like Hooks, Context API, and Redux/Redux Toolkit.
• Backend Development: Develop secure, scalable, and robust RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize database schemas in MongoDB, utilizing Mongoose.
• Full-Stack Integration: Seamlessly connect frontend elements with backend services and external APIs.
• Code Quality: Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, actively participating in code reviews and adhering to industry best practices.
• Testing: Implement unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Deployment & DevOps: Manage CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications to cloud environments such as AWS, Vercel, Heroku, or DigitalOcean.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with UI/UX designers, product managers, and fellow developers to define features and overcome technical hurdles.
• Performance Optimization: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to guarantee application scalability and high performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 0-2 years of professional full-stack web development experience.
• Core Stack Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• API Design: Solid understanding of RESTful API principles and HTTP protocols.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git and collaborative workflows using GitHub/GitLab.
• State Management: Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Context.
• Authentication: Familiarity with authentication strategies including JWT, OAuth, and session-based authentication.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex technical challenges.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
