Michaels Stores, a premier destination for crafting and celebrating in North America with over 1,300 locations, seeks a dedicated Merchandise Manager for our Midlothian, VA store. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional merchandising and operational execution. You will be responsible for accurate pricing, maintaining a customer-ready store environment through strategic inventory management, and effective workload planning to drive sales and uphold our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager in adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies, providing Manager-on-Duty coverage, leading truck execution, owning workload planning, executing SISO routines, overseeing Planogram (POG) execution, establishing and maintaining visual merchandising standards, supporting a clean store environment, managing inventory control, executing ad sets, completing price changes, overseeing Ship from Store fulfillment, processing RTVs and ASN receiving, managing store damages, training and developing team members, and partnering on Asset Protection practices.
This is an onsite, part-time position requiring 3+ years of retail leadership experience. The ideal candidate will be able to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, moving throughout the store, bending, lifting up to 25-50 pounds, climbing ladders, and performing repetitive motions. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings is essential.
