Member of Technical Staff

Join Oracle's software engineering division in Bangalore as a Member of Technical Staff. You will actively contribute to defining and evolving standard practices and procedures, creating specifications for significant new projects, and developing software solutions from design to implementation. This role involves professional software development, including the design and debugging of software applications and operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and refine technical specifications, High-Level Designs (HLD), and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for world-class products and services.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to refine architecture.
• Develop and review code, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Drive DevOps practices, manage releases, and oversee operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2-3 years of industry experience in designing, developing, and delivering highly scalable products and services.
• Solid understanding of the entire product development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Java or other JVM-based languages.
• Experience with multi-threading and parallel processing.
• Strong knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop MapReduce, and Crunch.
• Experience building scalable, performant, and secure services/modules.
• Familiarity with Micro Services architecture and API design best practices.
• Experience with Container platforms.
• Good understanding of various testing methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and technologies.
• Exposure to observability tools like Splunk and New Relic.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git and SVN.
