Medical Representative

Meliorate Health Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated Medical Representative to join our team. This full-time, field-based role is responsible for promoting our pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products within a designated territory in Ahmadnagar, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote Meliorate Health's pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products to doctors, pharmacies, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals in the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular doctor visits and product detailing to meet daily call targets.
• Drive demand creation and generate prescriptions for company products.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with medical practitioners, chemists, and distributors.
• Ensure optimal product availability and visibility in retail and institutional outlets within the territory.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly primary and secondary sales targets.
• Collaborate with stockists and distributors to manage orders and ensure timely product supply.
• Organize and execute promotional activities, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, doctor meetings, and health camps.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing strategies, and new product launches.
• Submit accurate daily call reports, expense statements, and weekly territory reports.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the coverage of your territory.
• Address customer inquiries and provide effective post-sales support.
• Represent Meliorate Health at local medical events and promotional campaigns.
• Adhere strictly to company compliance and ethical promotion practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, or any graduate degree. A B.Pharm is preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical field sales is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of medical sales principles and doctor-calling best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to achieve targets and strong convincing skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport with healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and manage a field-based schedule effectively.
• A two-wheeler license is preferred for efficient field travel.
