Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and modify mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications under supervision.
• Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components for design projects, identifying critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.
• Perform and document engineering test reports and alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.
• Conduct engineering analysis and troubleshoot mechanical problems of general difficulty.
• Apply engineering processes to resolve basic mechanical problems.
• Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling and fixturing.
• Facilitate the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts and assemblies throughout the product life cycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical engineering theories and concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more of related experience.
• Basic understanding of thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, and Design for Excellence principles.
