Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is passionate about product design, prototyping, and engineering innovation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks, ANSYS, CAD, and 3D printing, and will be responsible for taking mechanical concepts from design and simulation through prototyping and validation.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective mechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs.
• Perform FEA and structural analysis using ANSYS to validate and optimize designs.
• Develop functional prototypes using 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques.
• Test and validate prototypes against design and performance requirements.
• Apply GD&T principles to engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, reliability, performance, and cost.
• Work closely with manufacturing, electronics, firmware, and other cross-functional teams.
• Identify design issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
• Maintain design documentation, revisions, and technical specifications throughout the product development cycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience in mechanical/product design.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD.
• Hands-on experience with ANSYS / FEA.
• Good understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and component selection.
• Ability to troubleshoot design and prototype issues independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
