Morgan Stanley seeks a Marketing Data Analyst for Client Segments in Wealth Management, located in Mumbai, India. This role requires hands-on experience in gathering campaign requirements from business partners, contributing to campaign planning, setup, execution, and monitoring using Dataiku for banking products such as credit cards, mortgages, and client retention programs.
Key responsibilities include developing and running SQL queries for audience extraction, performance tracking, and reporting. The analyst will contribute to post-campaign reporting, deriving performance insights under senior guidance, and conducting ad-hoc analyses to interpret data trends and user behavior. Collaboration with the Snowflake development team is essential to ensure data accessibility and functionality. Maintaining clear documentation for campaign workflows, audience logic, and analytical outputs is also required.
The role involves supporting segmentation activities and data pulls via Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) when necessary. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in Core Banking or Financial Services. Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis is mandatory. Experience with Dataiku for workflow development or campaign execution with minimal guidance is expected. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting, and experience assisting with post-campaign analysis and deriving performance metrics are also required.
Candidates should be able to handle ad-hoc data requests and provide structured insights, with a basic understanding of the campaign lifecycle and segmentation. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Marketing Analytics, or a related field is necessary. Exposure to Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms, and familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) for segmentation or activation are advantageous. Basic knowledge of Python for data processing or automation tasks, and awareness of data privacy and compliance in financial environments are preferred.
