Market Research Analyst

Modisoft is seeking a skilled Market Research Analyst to join our team in Pune, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in gathering and analyzing crucial customer feedback from various sources such as tradeshows, product demonstrations, and direct customer interactions. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying recurring themes, such as bugs, feature requests, and messaging inconsistencies, and translating this feedback into actionable insights. You will meticulously track key issues, ensuring their resolution both internally and externally, and maintain a robust system to prevent the loss of valuable feedback.

Furthermore, you will conduct in-depth competitor research, analyzing their features, pricing strategies, market positioning, and communication efforts. By monitoring market trends, you will summarize significant shifts in the competitive landscape and transform raw data and notes into clear, concise reports and insightful summaries. You will be expected to share regular updates on customer and market learnings with various internal teams, contributing directly to our strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in Market Research and Market Analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Exceptional Communication Skills for effectively presenting research findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with various Research Methodologies and tools.
• Ability to work independently and productively in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with the retail and/or restaurant industry is highly advantageous.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required.
