Manufacturing Engineer I

Role Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to monitor quality and efficiency performance for assigned manufacturing lines. You will drive continuous improvement through process development, root cause analysis, and systematic problem solving using data from CIQ, TARS, and other sources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize line throughput while minimizing changeover downtime (common set-ups).
• Analyze machine management data to maximize utilization and minimize scrap generation.
• Propose creative cost-reduction strategies by streamlining processes and systems.
• Create and maintain wave and reflow soldering profiles ensuring IPC-610B compliance.
• Design or procure production tooling including stencils, vacuum plates, pallets, fixtures, and jigs.
• Coordinate line reconfigurations, machine moves, equipment installation, and scheduling for support groups (Machine Support, Facilities, MIS).
• Verify scheduled maintenance on assigned lines to ensure operational readiness.
• Foster open communication within the Manufacturing Engineering department and across all support functions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred with 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must adhere to strict safety, health regulations, and company security policies.
