Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute Business Intelligence and Analysis tasks, including design, testing, migration, production support, and implementation of dashboard applications.
• Utilize Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Cloud, and Tableau Prep for data visualization.
• Create effective and high-performance dashboards in Tableau and publish them.
• Design complex dashboards leveraging Tableau functions such as data blending, joins, actions, filters, and parameters.
• Suggest and follow standard methodologies for Tableau dashboard creation, aligning chart selection, color patterns, and dashboard aesthetics with user needs.
• Participate in administrative activities including publishing, user management, subscription creation, and deployment.
• Extract data from multiple data sources.
• Oversee production operations for Tableau platforms.
• Collaborate with business partners and customers to understand reporting needs and requirements.
• Interpret written business requirements and technical specifications.
• Gain a thorough understanding of Tableau user and group security configurations.
• Lead the development of advanced analytics solutions using Tableau to generate strategic insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Tableau solutions with other enterprise systems.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Tableau development best practices.
• Develop custom scripts and extensions to enhance Tableau functionality.
• Conduct training sessions for stakeholders on Tableau tools.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• BE/B-Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA, BSc/MSc
• Relevant work experience. Knowledge of Python, SQL, VBA, MS-Access, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, R is desirable.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior management.
• Experience in balancing customer-facing responsibilities with work assessments.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good conceptual knowledge and experience in other BI tools is an advantage.
• Ability to foster strong working relationships with the team, peers, and clients. Scheduling flexibility is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, macro-level research and analytics approach, and proficiency with numbers.
• Good people and client handling skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
