Royal Caribbean Group, a leader in the vacation industry celebrated for its innovative fleet and outstanding guest experiences, is seeking a Manager, Sports Partnership Marketing. This role is pivotal in crafting and implementing marketing strategies designed to elevate brand awareness through strategic alliances with sports organizations. The focus will be on cultivating strong relationships and fostering community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Royal Caribbean's comprehensive sports partnership plan, collaborating with internal marketing teams and external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of marketing assets across digital, print, in-stadium, and streaming platforms.
  • Create compelling thematic storylines, visual identities, and messaging for each annual season, ensuring consistency across all partnership deliverables, events, and assets.
  • Manage and nurture day-to-day relationships with key contacts at partner teams, fostering ongoing collaboration, clarity, and mutual goal-setting.
  • Design a partnership social calendar, in coordination with social media teams, encompassing partnership milestones, team coverage, behind-the-scenes content, influencer collaborations, and giveaways that align with both Royal Caribbean's and the partner's social content strategies.
  • Conceptualize and execute annual, season-long sweepstakes campaigns to boost brand awareness, social media following, and lead generation.
  • Devise, coordinate, and execute impactful player appearance opportunities to generate engaging social and digital content.
  • Oversee the conceptualization, production, and staffing for season-long stadium fan zone activations, in-game activations, and other on-site fan interactions that align with brand values, aiming to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and community presence.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all legal requirements for social media and in-person giveaways, activations, and sweepstakes in collaboration with the legal team, engaging third-party sweepstakes vendors as needed.
  • Design and implement a partnership measurement plan, regularly analyzing metrics to assess the impact on defined brand goals and objectives.
  • Maintain Royal Caribbean's relevance and authenticity within the local, national, and global sports community, providing market intelligence on key trends and advising internal teams on best-in-class event advertising, activations, and sweepstakes.
  • Develop messages, moments, and events to enhance the visibility and purpose of partnerships for employees and the local South Florida community.
  • Manage season-long ticket and suite allotments, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with marketing goals and company interests.
  • Plan and manage the annual budget to support all facets of the partnership plan.
