Manager Software Engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development (Backend): Develop high-performance applications for AI-assisted workflows and decision systems.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and deploy scalable applications on AWS using Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, and Bedrock/SageMaker. Design event-driven microservices architectures optimized for AI workloads.
• IaC & Automation: Implement robust Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• MLOps & Engineering Excellence: Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/Jenkins) for automated testing, versioning, and deployments. Apply MLOps best practices including model lifecycle management, monitoring, and cost-efficient AI inference system optimization.

Mandatory Skills

• Backend: Python (FastAPI/Flask), RESTful API design patterns.
• Cloud Native: Deep expertise in AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB).
• DevOps & Containers: CI/CD strategy, Docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, and Terraform automation.
• Data Engineering: SQL/NoSQL proficiency with experience in vector databases for AI applications.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of total software engineering experience (including 4+ years leading complex, distributed system delivery).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional certification.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade platforms into regulated production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and RESTful API development on the AWS cloud platform (compute, storage, networking, IAM).
• Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and containerization technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with React.js for frontend integration (hooks, state management, component design).
• Experience building or integrating Agentic AI / Generative AI systems involving LLMs, RAG architectures, and orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, or OpenSearch for semantic search implementations.
• Solid background in MLOps ecosystems including model registries, automated pipelines, and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience designing microservices architectures within event-driven systems.

Healthcare Domain Exposure (Preferred)

• Familiarity with healthcare datasets: claims processing, eligibility verification, prior authorization workflows, and provider directories.
• Understanding of clinical or operational workflows such as provider calls, documentation generation, and adjudication steps.
• Awareness of data sensitivity requirements and HIPAA-like compliance standards in regulated environments.
