Manager Software Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to build and lead multiple engineering teams. Your role will be pivotal in developing reliable, secure, and scalable products that drive business impact. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on ensuring high standards of technical excellence and delivery. You will operate at the intersection of people leadership, technical strategy, and delivery, cultivating an environment where teams can excel and engineering drives significant business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of talented software engineers.
• Foster an environment where teams can sustainably deliver high-quality software at pace.
• Champion modern engineering practices, continuous improvement, and a positive developer experience.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other partners to bring innovative ideas to fruition.
• Balance delivery, quality, and technical excellence while preventing burnout.
• Contribute to shaping technical direction while ensuring teams remain focused on customer value.
• Maintain strong operational practices, including reliability, incident management, and cost awareness.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in leading and scaling software engineering teams in complex environments.
• A solid understanding of modern software development lifecycles and technology stacks.
• Exceptional people leadership skills, with a passion for coaching, inclusion, and developing future leaders.
• Confidence in working with Product, Architecture, and senior stakeholders to define roadmaps and priorities.
• A pragmatic approach, knowing when to engage deeply and when to maintain a strategic overview.
• A track record of delivering high-quality software at scale with a focus on long-term sustainability.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Solid understanding of modern architecture patterns, cloud-based architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containers.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as DotNet, React, and Python.
• Good knowledge of Big Data Solutions, Analytics, and Data Governance and Quality.
