Manager

The Site Reliability Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading a team, focusing on career development, project prioritization, and performance reviews.
• Fostering a culture that prioritizes automation and discourages manual tasks.
• Collaborating with partner teams to enhance infrastructure reliability.
• Orchestrating crisis management efforts to achieve sustainable solutions.
• Analyzing and evaluating existing processes for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
• Providing training and support to teams that interact with SRE.
• Onboarding new hires to ensure their success.
• Integrating new technologies, systems, and automations into the team's operations.

Qualifications include:

• Experience with or critical thinking about integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI insights, or assessing AI's impact.
• Over 10 years of overall experience.
• Hands-on technical expertise in Linux, databases, systems, and coding.
• Proven experience in team management.
• Expertise in designing and implementing monitoring solutions for large, scalable environments.
• Experience with cloud operations, follow-the-sun models, and geographically distributed teams.
• Experience in delivering software, platforms, and infrastructure as a service.
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 principles and methods.
• Outstanding interpersonal and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Uncompromising attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications (pluses):

• RHCE, CCNA, ITIL, or other relevant industry certifications.
