Role Overview: Manager - Programs (Persons with Disability)

The Azim Premji Foundation is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to lead grant-making initiatives focused on the disability sector. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, this role involves managing multi-year grants for non-profit organizations that empower vulnerable communities, including persons with disabilities in urban, rural, and tribal regions. You will lead the full lifecycle of grant management, from programmatic due diligence and budget assessment to ensuring compliance with Foundation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scoping and programmatic due diligence for prospective partner organizations.
• Evaluate proposals, facilitate dialogues with partners, and support financial due diligence.
• Manage the end-to-end grant lifecycle process.
• Engage in ecosystem development, including supporting capacity building for caregivers, frontline staff, and rehabilitation professionals.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the disability sector, focusing on program implementation and management.
• In-depth understanding of Indian government disability schemes and initiatives.
• Proven track record in grant-making, program budgeting, or fundraising.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with extensive travel requirements.
