Manager

BrowserStack is seeking a Manager of Product Design to lead the design direction for its Automation Testing suite. This role is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and requires a proactive individual to create efficient, meaningful, and delightful product experiences. You will be instrumental in setting the design strategy, collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams.

As a design leader and architect in an AI-first environment, you will work hands-on to support your team and design intelligent workflows for rapid feature delivery. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Proven experience leading design for complex, high-scale cloud platforms is essential. You should possess deep technical literacy, understanding design systems and engineering, with prior hands-on development experience being a plus. Comfort with 'vibe-coding' complex product workflows and MVPs is also desired. Managerial expertise in leading mid-to-large scale design initiatives is a requirement.

Key responsibilities include contributing to the evolution of the Automated Testing Products suite (Automate, App Automate, Test Reporting & Analytics, Load Testing), Visual Testing (Percy, App Percy), and shaping new AI-augmented design workflows and design systems. You will architect and champion agentic workflows to accelerate team output, from research to code handoffs. Strategic leadership in shaping product strategy, deriving insights from user feedback, and quantifying impact will be crucial. This is a 'Player-Coach' role, requiring hands-on execution of high-stakes design tasks and architecting solutions for complex technical UI challenges. Evolving design standards and documentation for both AI systems and human teams is also a core responsibility, alongside mentoring your team and guiding their development plans in AI-first working methods.
