Reporting to: Sr. Manager, People Business Partner
Purpose of the Role
The People Business Partner (Manager – Band VI) serves as a strategic advisor and thought partner to senior business leaders, driving end-to-end people strategy for assigned business units within AB InBev GCC India. This role is pivotal in establishing AB InBev as a great place to work by improving HR processes and executing growth and development strategies. The incumbent will partner with business leaders to diagnose organizational needs, co-create solutions, and drive measurable business and talent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management: Own and drive people strategy for assigned business units, ensuring alignment with business goals and talent priorities. Partner with senior leadership and functional heads to diagnose needs and propose solutions.
- Employee Experience & Engagement: Champion initiatives to enhance engagement, retention, and overall employee experience using data-driven insights. Foster a culture of meritocracy, diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Employee Relations & Risk Management: Proactively manage and resolve complex employee relations cases while ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
- Coaching & Leadership Enablement: Coach managers to build strong people leadership capabilities, including performance management and talent development. Support organizational transformations and identify training needs.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize people analytics to inform strategic decisions and address workforce trends like attrition, engagement, and diversity.
- Collaboration with Centers of Excellence: Align hiring and capability-building with business priorities, collaborating with Talent Acquisition (TA) and Learning & Development (L&D).
Qualifications & Experience
Requirements:
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in HR or related field.
- 4–9 years of progressive HR experience, with expertise in HR Business Partnering roles in complex, global environments.
