About the Role: Manager of Artificial Intelligence

KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) is searching for a Technical Manager, AI Solution Architect based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is pivotal in leading rapid AI prototyping and the delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions. You will collaborate closely with business and client stakeholders to deliver secure, cloud-native AI solutions, accelerate delivery using modern AI developer tools, and uphold KPMG’s core values of integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical teams in rapid AI prototyping for business challenges requiring advanced AI solutions, including Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI agents. Define and own the end-to-end technical vision and architecture for AI prototypes across diverse ecosystem vendors and platforms.
• Champion quality by establishing best practices, including advanced design patterns, mandating rigorous code and solution evaluation, and setting SDLC standards to build a foundation of reusable, expandable, and scalable code.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of software and AI engineers, guiding them in solving complex technical problems and fostering their professional growth.
• Collaborate effectively with business and client stakeholders, developers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement scalable, secure, and reliable AI solutions using modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
• Lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, utilizing structured approaches for problem-solving, risk management, assumption documentation, and results communication.
• Champion the use of AI accelerators, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Lovable, to expedite prototype development.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to maintain KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a science or engineering field.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in any field with demonstrated technical aptitude and relevant experience in AI solution development.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in data, machine learning, and AI solution development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor technical teams (onshore/offshore), with at least three years of leadership experience.

Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills:

• Strong knowledge of modern AI technologies and methodologies.
• Experience leading teams in designing and implementing AI experiments and solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs) from providers like Azure OpenAI and Google Cloud, modern AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel), and advanced RAG pipelines.

Preferred Technical & Functional Skills:

• Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS) is strongly preferred.
