Western Digital, a global leader in data storage technology, is seeking a Manager, IT Audit to join their team in San Jose, CA. This role is crucial for overseeing and executing comprehensive audits focusing on technology, cybersecurity, and IT governance. The successful candidate will play a key part in strengthening the company's IT risk management practices, ensuring alignment with Western Digital's strategic objectives and commitment to powering innovation.

Responsibilities include leading the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audit engagements covering infrastructure, applications, IT General Controls (ITGCs), and cybersecurity. The role involves conducting detailed IT SOX control testing, including ITGCs, automated controls (ITACs), Input/Process/Output (IPE), and system access reviews across key systems like Oracle ERP and other critical business applications. You will assess system changes, configurations, and integrations to ensure adherence to WD's IT policies and SOX requirements, identifying control deficiencies and providing actionable recommendations for management remediation. Collaboration with external auditors (KPMG) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is essential for aligning audit scope and risk assessments. The position requires maintaining accurate audit documentation in AuditBoard, evaluating IT governance and control maturity, and supporting audits for major initiatives such as cloud transformations and AI enablement. Staying current with evolving IT regulations and industry trends is vital for enhancing WD’s control posture. Building strong partnerships with IT, Information Security, Finance, and other global functions is expected to foster a culture of risk awareness. Communication of audit results and risk insights to management across geographies is a key aspect of the role. You will also provide direction and coaching to staff auditors, including global teams and co-sourced partners, contributing to the continuous improvement and standardization of IT audit programs.
