You will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in all aspects of store operations and administration. The focus is on delivering exceptional customer service, managing daily store responsibilities, driving profitability, and ensuring adherence to Hibbett's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management and control of store assets.
• Collaborate on action plans for sales, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling to achieve store objectives.
• Take full responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Provide guidance and product knowledge to both staff and customers.
• Monitor inventory, sales figures, and expenses to ensure departmental and overall store profitability.
• Direct and supervise staff to ensure all departmental responsibilities and standards are met.
• Communicate inventory movement and customer trends to management.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the store.
• Perform administrative duties and gain comprehensive training in Store Manager responsibilities.
• Deliver outstanding customer service as per the customer service manual, including proactive customer engagement and managing peak periods.
• Promote and sell Hibbett's merchandise and services effectively.
• Uphold all Hibbett/City Gear policies and standards across various operational manuals.
• Protect company assets and financial information through accurate internal controls and reporting of potential fraud risks.
• Supervise employees in management's absence, including interviewing, training, assigning work, and resolving issues in accordance with company policies and laws.
