  • Deliver World Class Products

Fraud Analytics Optimization is dedicated to minimizing global fraud losses by developing and implementing various analytics solutions. Offshore Analytics resources are required in the USA to provide advanced data-driven insights that reduce fraud losses, enhance operational efficiency, and improve customer experience. These resources will also support the ongoing optimization of Account Takeover/Payment fraud initiatives, collaborating with global teams on new model implementations. The objective is to establish a mature Analytics operational model within the region to effectively manage and enhance fraud attack vectors, aligning with evolving platforms, systems, and business initiatives, while ensuring robust governance across the fraud spectrum. This is a backfill hire and part of the 2025 Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

The Data & Analytics job family is structured to address end-to-end business requirements. Professionals in this family are distinguished by their ability to provide essential consultation and collaborate with business units by assessing needs, identifying appropriate analytical solutions for business challenges, and developing them for execution. This often spans areas such as business growth, enhancing customer experience, mitigating risk exposure, and improving internal business processes. They are expected to integrate agile and exploratory practices as needed, maintaining the flexibility to adapt solutions based on changing scenarios to achieve effective results. This talent group can be leveraged to provide solutions for diverse areas, including process improvement, technology, and approaches by embedding exploratory analytics with a consulting mindset.

Understanding the US fraud landscape is crucial for driving initiatives related to Application Fraud, Account Takeover Fraud, Transactions Fraud, and Payment Fraud, among others. The role involves building fraud mitigation models across products and journeys, with a specific focus on key fraud typologies by leveraging comprehensive internal and external data sources. This includes implementing, calibrating, and integrating analytics capabilities of new fraud mitigation solutions to detect fraudulent behavior in real-time across transactions, applications, and servicing journeys. Constant monitoring of fraud strategies is necessary to optimize performance and maintain detection rates and false positive rates within acceptable parameters. The role also involves assisting the Process Lead in establishing Fraud Analytics Optimization as a recognized discipline within the IWPB community.
