Opportunity: Data Analyst in Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct exploratory data analysis across various data domains to understand data structures and relationships supporting business requirements.
• Execute queries on data platforms to validate analyses, hypotheses, and ensure the identification of high-quality, trusted data for business use.
• Collaborate with data domain and platform owners to source trusted enterprise-level data, ensuring its quality for downstream provisioning.
• Participate in agile ceremonies within assigned pods, embracing agile methodologies and best practices.
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to data governance standards, including data accuracy, lineage transparency, consistency, and security.

Essential Experience & Competencies:

• University degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with Hadoop and GCP ecosystems, alongside proficiency in analytical languages such as Python, Pyspark, SQL, and SAS.
• Solid understanding of banking operations and processes, particularly within Risk, Compliance, and Finance functions.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments (Kanban/Scrum) and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to navigate organizational structures effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
