About the Role:
Join Abbott as a Manager of Analytics & Automation in New Delhi, India, a key role within our Global Strategy and Insights Team. This dynamic position requires you to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, contributing as both an individual and a manager of a highly collaborative team. You will partner closely with commercial sales, R&D, finance, and various cross-functional teams to drive business insights and forward planning.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of analysts, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting for data and tools.
- Synthesize data and develop/fine-tune models for market trends, epidemiology, and procedure analysis.
- Create, maintain, and develop dashboards, dataflows, and reports using Power BI, Power Pivot, Python, or other modeling tools to visualize insights for current and adjacent business segments.
- Apply statistical analysis and forecasting techniques to infer market volumes, shifts in care, and correlate diverse datasets to generate actionable narratives.
- Manage multiple work requests and deliverables, including internal SharePoint and Microsoft PowerApps projects.
- Design, produce, and analyze data against key operational metrics.
- Define and develop processes for monitoring company performance against historical data, targets, and competition, utilizing internal, industry, and public data sources.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously enhance metrics and reporting for rapid understanding of performance against goals.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail while managing competing priorities, tight deadlines, and project budgets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science with 5-7 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid understanding of the specified functional area.
- Management consulting experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Technology, Mathematics, or Computer Science with management consulting experience.
- Proven experience in people management and leadership, with excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience as an equity research analyst in the healthcare industry or as an investment analyst.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading analytics initiatives using visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to drive insights and recommendations.
