Managed Services Network Engineer

LEVELOCITI, a leading national IT solutions provider, is seeking a skilled Managed Services Network Engineer to join our remote team. This role is crucial in supporting and managing enterprise networking environments for our diverse client base across the United States. You will provide essential operational support, perform advanced troubleshooting, and ensure the ongoing management and stability of complex network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support for enterprise network infrastructure within our managed services customer environments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching platforms to ensure optimal performance.
• Support and manage network security infrastructure, including firewalls and segmentation technologies.
• Troubleshoot and maintain wireless networking environments, ensuring seamless connectivity.
• Proactively monitor network performance, identifying and resolving infrastructure issues across client environments.
• Engage in infrastructure upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for intricate network troubleshooting challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to guarantee the stability and reliability of managed environments.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation and provide operational support for client infrastructure.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering or network operations within enterprise settings.
• Proven experience supporting multiple customer environments, ideally within an MSP, VAR, or managed services organization.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco routing, switching, and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and supporting network security and/or wireless environments.
• Solid understanding of core networking protocols and fundamental enterprise networking concepts.
• Experience working within ticket-driven operational environments and adhering to escalation workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active CCNA or CCNP certifications are highly preferred.
• Exposure to multi-vendor networking technologies is considered a valuable asset.
