Full Job Description
We are seeking a **Managed Services - Information Security Analyst (L1)** to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will report to the Cyber Security Operations Manager and monitor security events from various channels (SIEM, tickets, email, and phone) based on severity. You will escalate incidents to support teams, specialists, and customers as needed, conduct thorough investigations, and resolve security issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect corporate data and technology platforms from emerging threats while adhering to ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and analyzing security events using SIEM tools and intrusion detection technologies.
- Escalating and resolving security incidents, malware management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Documenting and maintaining security procedures, build documents, and customer-specific processes.
- Staying updated on emerging security threats and regulatory requirements.
- Communicating effectively with customers, teammates, and management.
- Troubleshooting web content filtering policies and networking principles (TCP/IP, WANs, LANs, protocols like SMTP, HTTP, FTP, POP, LDAP).
- Assisting in post-shift after-hours availability as required.
