Full Job Description
The Managed Services Information Security Analyst at NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS is a seasoned expert responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on client security data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations. This role involves security incident detection and response, threat hunting, tuning SIEM and MSSP platforms, and collaborating with clients to address security concerns. You will work in a global Cyber Defense Centre (CDC) on rotational shifts, ensuring 24/7 security coverage. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and analyzing security logs from client environments to detect threats and anomalies.
- Generating continuous improvement ideas for security tools and technologies to enhance client and employee experiences.
- Adhering to standardized processes (SOPs, customer runbooks) while proposing improvements for global consistency.
- Performing security incident handling across vectors like endpoint protection, network forensics, and malware analysis.
- Configuring and managing security controls (SIEM, Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, SOAR, etc.) to optimize detection and response.
- Automating processes to streamline client and security team workflows.
- Collaborating with client delivery teams and colleagues to share knowledge and build a cohesive team environment.
- Ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining detailed records of security activities.
This is a senior-level role requiring:
- Proven experience in SOC analysis, SIEM investigations, and security technologies (Firewall, IPS, IDS, Proxy, SOAR, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of security architecture, modern computer systems, and network vulnerabilities.
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments, remain calm under pressure, and stay updated on emerging security trends.
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computing or related field, with preferred certifications (CISSP, CEH, SC-200, etc.).
- 2-7 years of relevant experience in security operations, incident handling, and client support.
