Full Job Description
Cloud Counselage Pvt is seeking a passionate and motivated Machine Learning Intern to join our data science team in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating machine learning models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation. It's an ideal opportunity for individuals to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting and gain valuable industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the data science team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing data for machine learning tasks.
- Implement machine learning algorithms and models using appropriate libraries and frameworks.
- Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of machine learning models and algorithms.
- Work on feature engineering and selection to improve model performance and generalization.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new machine learning projects and initiatives.
- Document your work, including code, experiments, and findings, in a clear and organized manner.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in machine learning and related fields.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on progress and results.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (research projects or internship) in ML, NLP, or deep learning.
- Strong understanding of ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Hands-on experience with NLP models, embeddings, and vector similarity methods.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and libraries like Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, NLTK.
- Experience in training LLMs and fine-tuning open-source models.
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools is a plus.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum commitment of 3 months full-time internship without stipend.
- Have a working device (laptop/desktop) with a stable internet connection.
