Machine Learning Engineer | Remote

Position Overview

Title: Machine Learning Researcher (MSc. or PhD)

Type: Contract | Compensation: $60 - $120/hour

Location: Global, fully remote

Commitment: 40 hours/week (Full-time equivalent)

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and validate machine-learning models and training pipelines
• Implement model components, data pipelines, and evaluation systems
• Build reproducible workflows using Python and command-line tools
• Solve and validate complex machine-learning engineering tasks
• Optimize memory and throughput for model performance
• Debug numerical or system-level failures during implementation
• Verify correctness and performance of resulting implementations

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with:

• A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant quantitative discipline.
• Strong professional or research experience in machine learning.
• Practical proficiency in Python and coding agents.
• Experience in well-established technology, AI labs, or research organizations (exceptional open-source or academic experience may qualify).
• The ability to create reproducible workflows and solve engineering tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills in numerical computing.
