Machine Learning Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer focused on Relevance and Personalization. In this role, you will develop, productionize, and operate large-scale machine learning models and pipelines to drive search ranking, relevance, and personalization at Airbnb.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and continuously improve cutting-edge ML models for product, business, and operational use cases using structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, product managers, operations teams, and data scientists to identify opportunities for business impact and prioritize requirements.
• Develop, productionize, and operate scalable ML pipelines supporting both batch and real-time workloads.
• Leverage third-party and in-house infrastructure to create reusable, high-performing systems with low-latency serving capabilities.
