About the Role
Masscomcorp is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer specializing in User Acquisition (UA) for Mobile Gaming and AdTech. This position serves as an Individual Contributor role focused on leveraging data-driven insights to optimize user acquisition strategies, enhance campaign performance, and maximize Return on Investment (ROI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, SQL, statistical modeling, Gen AI applications, marketing analytics, attribution modeling, and programmatic advertising.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets from mobile games, ad networks, and MMPs to drive UA strategy and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Develop predictive models and A/B testing frameworks to optimize ad spend, bidding strategies, and targeting precision.
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions using tools like Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LightGBM, alongside GenAI tools such as Langchain/Langgraph.
- Implement LTV (Lifetime Value) models and cohort analysis to inform strategic marketing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, UA, Product, and Engineering to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and dashboard creation to track key UA performance metrics.
- Leverage Python for automation, machine learning pipelines, and efficiency improvements in UA campaigns.
- Collaborate with AdTech partners (e.g., Appsflyer, Adjust) to ensure accurate attribution tracking.
What to Expect
This role involves close collaboration with data science teams and the development of in-house systems. Candidates must be thorough programmers in Python and SQL capable of communicating complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Technical Skills
- =2+ years experience specifically in User Acquisition, AdTech, or Gaming analytics.
- Hands-on experience with AdTech platforms, Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs), and UA tools.
- Demonstrable project implementation experience in Mobile Marketing/AdTech spaces.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies, statistical significance, causal inference techniques, and attribution modeling.
- Proficiency with Pytorch, Tensorflow, Scipy, Sklearn for developing AI/ML solutions.
- Exposure to Gen AI tools including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Context Engineering, MCP, and Agentic AI patterns.
- Ability to use statistics to analyze system or player behavior dynamics.
- Prior experience with Apache Spark is a plus.
Working Conditions
This role offers flexible hours with a mandatory presence window from 9 PM IST to 12 AM IST. It supports permanent remote work-from-home arrangements, generous paid time off (PTO), vacation, holidays, and operates on a five-day work week.
