Machine Learning Engineer II

FactSet's Data Solutions AI team is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India, to advance our financial AI applications. This role involves developing and deploying state-of-the-art solutions using Graph Technologies, NLP, predictive analytics, Large Language Models, and cloud-native technologies. What You'll Do

• Engineer innovative machine learning solutions for financial tasks, focusing on Knowledge Graphs and developing novel approaches beyond adaptation.
• Optimize and scale our AWS-based cloud infrastructure for reliable and high-performance delivery of ML and AI solutions, including LLM integration.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate and manage ML and NLP models in production, advising on selection and deployment strategies.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment of financial AI applications.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for complex structured and unstructured financial data to ensure high-quality model inputs.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience, with a substantial focus on production AI/ML solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in AWS cloud architecture and associated services.
• Working knowledge of Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning concepts, with successful model development and deployment experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Docker, and API development.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business discussions and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with major database architectures including MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL, and Vector databases.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Master's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Knowledge Graphs.
• Experience in architecting and scaling LLM-powered solutions.
• Deep understanding of financial data, applications, and domain-specific challenges.
• Expertise in NLP libraries such as NLTK and SpaCy, and unstructured text analysis.
