Machine Learning Engineer

Soul AI, in partnership with Deccan AI, is seeking India's top 1% Machine Learning Engineers to join their Elite Community. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and tackle complex AI challenges.

Role Type: Contract-based with project timelines ranging from 2-6 months, or general freelancing.

Compensation: Pay above market standards.

Work Location Options:

• Remote (most likely)
• Onsite at client locations
• Deccan AI Offices (Hyderabad or Bangalore)

Responsibilities:

• Design, optimize, and deploy machine learning models, including feature engineering and scaling pipelines.
• Utilize deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and manage models in production environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate workflows, implement model versioning, logging, and real-time monitoring, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Work with large-scale datasets, develop feature stores, and implement CI/CD pipelines for model retraining and performance tracking.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and data engineering (e.g., Spark, Kafka).
• Expertise in MLOps, automation tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, MLflow, TFX), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong knowledge of model deployment, monitoring, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with A/B testing, Bayesian optimization, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud ML deployments and generative AI technologies, including LLM fine-tuning and FAISS.
