About the Role:

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy production-ready models, with a preference for real-time implementations. You will work within our Data Science team at Styli Marketplace.

Must-Have Skills

• Python Programming: Proficiency in writing clean, modular code using Git; strong testing and debugging capabilities.
• ML Fundamentals: Deep understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation, overfitting prevention, and data leakage management.
• Model Development: Hands-on experience training, tuning, and evaluating models using scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Data & SQL: Ability to prepare large datasets and build reproducible training pipelines.
• Deployment: Experience serving models via APIs/batch inference; proficiency with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• MLOps: Skills in model versioning, experiment tracking, automated deployment workflows, and production monitoring.
• Production Engineering: Optimization of latency, throughput, memory usage, and reliability for high-scale systems.

Fashion & E-commerce Preferred

• Experience with recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, search optimization, or personalization engines.
• Knowledge of computer vision tasks like image embeddings, product classification, or attribute extraction.
• Background handling large-scale product catalogs and customer interaction datasets.
