Job Opportunity: Machine Design Engineer in Pune

Akshay Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Machine Design Engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Chinchwad, Pune. The ideal candidate will spearhead the design, development, and execution of specialized assembly and tightening systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer specialized assembly and tightening machinery from concept to final production.
• Develop high-fidelity 3D models and precise manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
• Conduct design reviews focusing on manufacturability, cost efficiency, and optimal functionality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing and assembly teams.
• Manage prototype testing and iterative design improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10 to 20 years of professional experience in mechanical or machine design.
• Proficiency in CAD software and advanced machine design principles.
• Expertise in GD&T, tolerance stacks, material selection, and machining processes.
• Strong background in SPMs (Special Purpose Machines), pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for independent project management.
