About The Role

Algoscale is seeking a talented LLM (Large Language Model) Engineer to join our expanding AI/ML team in Noida, India. This role is ideal for individuals with practical experience in modern natural language processing (NLP) systems, large-scale model training, fine-tuning, and deployment. You will play a crucial role in collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to design and optimize innovative solutions powered by cutting-edge language models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate large language models (LLMs) for diverse use cases.
• Implement advanced prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning techniques to enhance model outputs.
• Develop robust pipelines for data preprocessing, tokenization, and dataset curation.
• Optimize model performance, focusing on latency, throughput, and cost-efficiency for production-scale deployments.
• Integrate LLMs seamlessly into applications, APIs, and business workflows.
• Conduct research and experiment with novel architectures, frameworks, and techniques in NLP and generative AI.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Ensure adherence to ethical AI practices, data security protocols, and AI governance standards.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or NLP.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Demonstrated experience with fine-tuning LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Falcon, Mistral).
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of distributed systems, model optimization, and deployment strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and familiarity with LangChain / LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases, Vertex AI, SageMaker).
• Background in data engineering and pipeline automation.
• Contributions to NLP/LLM research through publications, open-source projects, or personal initiatives.
• A strong problem-solving aptitude and a curious research mindset.
