LLM Engineer

Trexquant Investment LP is seeking a talented LLM Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram, India. This pivotal role involves the development, optimization, and deployment of advanced machine learning models, with a specialized focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) using Large Language Models (LLMs). You will work with state-of-the-art technologies and algorithms that directly shape our investment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and fine-tune systems that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other sophisticated artificial intelligence techniques. Applications include sentiment analysis, news aggregation, market predictions, and data cleaning.
• Process and analyze vast datasets, encompassing both structured and unstructured data, to train models capable of generating critical insights and forecasts for investment strategies.
• Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of LLMs, ensuring scalability and resource optimization.
• Collaborate closely with portfolio quant researchers to develop models that address specific market opportunities and challenges.
• Stay at the forefront of NLP and LLM advancements, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and pushing the boundaries of AI capabilities.
• Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and real-time market data feeds.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with LLMs, particularly concerning model bias and robustness, by implementing appropriate safeguards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, or deep learning in a high-performance environment.
• Proven experience working with large-scale datasets and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Knowledge of relevant technologies and frameworks is required.
