Legal Engineer - Contracts & CLM Specialist

Join Overture Rede as a Legal Engineer in Ghaziabad, India. This role focuses on optimizing contract management processes within a Contract Life Cycle Management (CLM) tool.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a comprehensive repository and hierarchy for contracts within a CLM tool, ensuring clear parent/child relationships.
• Analyze various commercial contracts, including Master Agreements, Service Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
• Assess critical contract clauses such as Governing Law, Jurisdiction, Assignment, Change of Control, Indemnification, Limitation of Liability, and Intellectual Property Rights.
• Utilize AI and data visualization tools for both manual and automated extraction of contract data to facilitate contract management and interpretation.
• Maintain up-to-date data within the CLM system and establish repository parameters for continuous accuracy.

Professional Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience in Contract Lifecycle Management, Contract Abstraction, Contract Negotiation, and Contract Summarization.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing CLM tools such as Conga, Sirion Labs, Icertis, Ironclad, or Unitedlex.
• Experience in AI validation, Clause Categorization, Contract Interpretation, legal information labeling for supervised machine learning, and Risk Review.
• Proven ability to present complex contract data in a clear and concise manner.
• Capacity to challenge existing processes and deliver effectively even with ambiguous requirements.
• Strong proficiency in English. Proficiency in a foreign language in addition to English is a plus.

Education

A degree in Science, Business Management, Engineering, Law, or an equivalent qualification.
