Learning and Development Specialist

This role involves supporting the development and delivery of effective learning programs, managing crucial learning administration processes, and fostering strong communication channels among stakeholders. You will be instrumental in troubleshooting system access and content visibility issues via ServiceNow tickets, managing external user setups, and providing comprehensive support, troubleshooting, and training for our local and regional Learning Management System (LMS). Key responsibilities include creating user assignment groups, assigning learning content, configuring assignments with reminders and escalations, and managing content certifications with recertification requirements. You will also be tasked with resolving issues, such as manually setting completions for users, and meticulously managing the McCain Learning content library, including organization, metadata, and driving content utilization. The role requires publishing internally produced and third-party custom eLearning content (SCORM) to the LMS, creating learning objects for in-person classes, and developing "Learning Paths" and "Curricula" to combine content into assignable collections. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the creation, publication, and management of learning exams and quizzes in SuccessFactors LMS, conducting content and system audits, deploying and managing third-party learning content platforms like Skill Soft/Percipio, and generating learning reports using Story Reports and fulfilling ServiceNow requests for report execution. Regulatory and compliance reporting, data management, testing custom content for interoperability with SuccessFactors and the McCain network, completing test reports, identifying root causes of errors, and staying informed about upcoming system releases, patches, and recommending upgrades are also integral parts of this role. You will play a key role in testing new system releases before their official rollout.
