Lead UX Writer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lead UX Writer to become a part of our design team. In this critical role at Freshworks, you will significantly shape the user experience by creating engaging and user-centric content. Your ability to craft clear, concise, and impactful messages will be instrumental in our product's success, ensuring smooth user interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the content strategy for Freshworks products, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly brand voice.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and researchers, to seamlessly integrate content into the user experience.
• Create effective microcopy for various UI elements, offering guidance and support to users at crucial moments.
• Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors, applying these insights to inform content decisions.
• Establish and maintain content style guides and standards for a unified voice across all product interactions.
• Partner with designers to integrate content into prototypes and participate in usability testing to refine messaging based on user feedback.
• Continuously iterate on content based on user feedback, analytics, and evolving product requirements.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a UX writer or in a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing impactful, user-focused content.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork within a cross-functional environment.
• A solid understanding of design principles and the ability to collaborate with designers for a cohesive user experience.
• Experience with user research and usability testing to guide content strategy.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
• Prior leadership or mentorship experience is a desirable asset.
