Full Job Description
Join Goodyear as a Lead Software Engineer specializing in VueJS in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This role is integral to the development of Goodyear Mobility Cloud, a sophisticated cloud-based platform designed to capture vehicle data, curate it into actionable insights through advanced algorithms, and present these insights to customers. You will be instrumental in designing and developing front-end web applications, implementing cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS services, and mentoring the front-end development team to uphold best practices and code quality. Collaboration with UX/UI designers and back-end developers will be key to creating seamless user experiences. Your responsibilities will include maintaining front-end architecture and component libraries, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Staying abreast of the latest front-end technologies, framework developments, and AWS services is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of FE-based web applications.
- Implement cloud-native front-end solutions using AWS services.
- Mentor and guide the front-end development team, fostering best practices and code quality.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to create seamless user experiences.
- Implement and maintain front-end architecture and component libraries.
- Ensure optimal performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, different framework ecosystem developments, and AWS services.
Primary Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years focusing on VueJS, React, or Angular.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
- Expert knowledge of VueJS, React, or Angular and their core libraries (Vuex, Vue Router, React Router).
- Experience with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Solid understanding of AWS services relevant to front-end development.
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in various FE Frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
- Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+).
- Mastery of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with State management (Vuex, Redux).
- Development of Single-page applications (SPA).
- Familiarity with Front-end build tools and task runners.
- Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Cognito.
- Understanding of Serverless architecture (AWS Lambda).
- Proficiency in Version control systems (Git).
- Experience with Testing frameworks (Jest, Vue Test Utils, React testing Libraries).
- Knowledge of Performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications.
