Lead Software Engineer

Tech Holding is seeking a skilled Lead Software Engineer for our on-site engineering team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This pivotal role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance software solutions while fostering seamless collaboration with our US-based teams. You will have the opportunity to contribute to architecture discussions, mentor junior engineers, and support enterprise-grade systems. This is an ideal position for a passionate problem-solver who thrives on clean code and works proficiently across modern technology stacks.

The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 7 years of experience in software development. Key responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions, ensuring code quality and adherence to development standards. You will also be responsible for coaching junior developers, designing complex applications and integrations, and contributing to performance engineering of the enterprise software architecture. This role requires advanced code development, code reviews, day-to-day support, and research into new tools.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ability to design database schemas supporting business needs, with familiarity with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Dynamo, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools like Git.
• Experience with container technology (Docker) and orchestration tools.
• Experience automating CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of API specifications like GraphQL and REST standards.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted coding tools.

Work Schedule:

• Availability for approximately 2 hours of evening work to overlap with US teams (until ~11:30 PM IST) is required.
