Lead Software Engineer at Mastercard
About the Role: Lead major projects with broad scope in secure financial solutions. Research alternative technical strategies for changing business needs and ensure daily team activities meet SLA requirements.
Major Accountabilities:
- Succeed in complex assignments requiring innovation, cost-effectiveness, and faster time-to-market within the Financial Services Sector.
- Create strategic technical plans and architecture proposals to bridge solution gaps as a subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with business partners to scope opportunities, identify risks/ROI, and present findings to stakeholders for effective decision-making.
- Research industry technologies, perform PoCs (Proof of Concepts), and create technology roadmaps.
- Led Quality Assurance processes including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Code Review, and Security Review per MasterCard standards.
- Mentor team members through all SDLC phases while driving process efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements by integrating security protocols into the development lifecycle.
Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Experience Needed:5-8 years delivering secure solutions (Financial Services preferred).
Skills Required:Strong communication, adaptability to new frameworks, and ability to function under pressure.
