Lead Software Engineer

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer) for our team in Karnataka, India. You will be instrumental in building enterprise-scale Observability capabilities to transform Telemetry, Monitoring and Observability across on-prem platforms as well as private and public clouds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex technology initiatives with companywide impact.
• Develop standards and best practices for large-scale engineering solutions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects involving modern tech stacks.
• Analyze complex solutions to meet strategic business objectives.
• Influence technical teams on industry best practices and drive new initiatives.
• Collaborate with experts to resolve complex issues like AI-powered anomaly detection and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor peers and provide strategic guidance to leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience (work, training, military, or education).

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java Spring Boot/ReactJS.
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, Kafka, ETL, Microservices, Kubernetes.
• Expertise in designing AI-powered products (ML models, data engineering).
• Built RESTful APIs for cross-channel applications.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Experience with Prometheus, Open Telemetry, and time series metrics analysis.
