Lead Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of software solutions while guiding a technical team. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of enhancements for customer-facing applications within our modern cloud-deployed technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enhancement design, development, and delivery for critical customer-facing applications.
• Support a high release cadence (20+ releases/month) utilizing GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain proficiency across the technology stack: Spring, Java, PostgreSQL, and microservices deployment on cloud infrastructure.
• Apply boundary scoping principles (approx. 5 working days / 40 hours) when managing incoming enhancement requests.
• Collaborate closely with Enhancement Architects for design alignment and technical risk mitigation.
• Provide expert technical guidance to engineers supporting the broader application portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, testing, and implementation.
• At least 1 year demonstrating relevant leadership experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and SQL with expertise in Spring Boot.
• Demonstrable background in GitHub Actions CI/CD practices supporting high-volume release environments.
